2009 First Annual Utica U-12s Soccer Tournament

The first annual Fall Utica U12s tournament was held October 17, 2009
at
Proctor Park in Utica. It was a beautiful Fall day, and everyone
had a great time.
Five boys teams played in the morning and five girls
teams played in the afternoon. Each division played a round robin
format with 6 points for a win, 3 points for a tie, and 0 points for a
loss. At the end of the rounds,
teams were placed according to total
points, with head-to-head results, goals scored, and goals given up as
tie breakers.
The tournament referees did a great job. 2009 U-12 Referees were Steve
Barth, Bruce Broat, Scott Dunfield, Nurko Kucevic, Kit Hutchison, Tracy
Mills, Denis Mistric, Mike Popowski, Mark Schmalz, Steve
Southwell, and Mike Wessing.
Results from the 2009 U12 tournament are listed below. If anyone has

Place based on goals scored, having tied Rome in their match together.
Also, Holland Patent and Whitestown tied for 4th place, having tied in
their match against each other, and having scored the same number of
goals, and allowed the same number of goals.
